I just purchased their engine and transmission skid plates with black powder coat. CAD to USD conversion makes their products a great deal! Plus no shipping charge 🙂
Totally agree! I installed mine last night and love how much more I'm pushed back into the seat. Now my legs feel way more supported. Love this simple mod.
100% same page and same scenario. I have not taken mine in yet. My hope is it's nothing too concerning or major since it's not throwing any error codes. I was gonna wait until my 5K service but might take in sooner. I also don't want them taking apart my engine as everything else seems to be...
@BKLC I’ve read every post in that other thread and the OP first noticed it while driving. He said “Well... as soon as I do and I hit the accelerator to leave the house I hear what sounds like an exhaust leak.... that's weird. I drive about 3 blocks and and then I decide to turn around and...
All - This is the same rattle/sound being discussed in this thread:

The hybrid that can't...
I have the same sound on mine and yes, it’s more noticeable when the engine isn’t fully warmed up, light acceleration, and on an incline.
The person who started that...
I just ordered the Fanttik X9 ultra yesterday and am excited to try it. I also ordered the LockNflate air chuck (and a 1/4” npt adapter) for quicker use. Amazon.com
Hi All, FYI, the Seat Jacker is now available for the LC250. Its the same version they use for new Tundra's and Sequoias. I just bought a set for my front seat. Hopefully they'll give my drivers seat a little more front lift so my legs can actually use the extended leg support :) Here's the...
Also might wanna consider the Falken Rubitrek’s if you want to save a few dollars over the Wildpeaks and have a very similar tire. I’m loving mine so far.
Very nice! Did you have the stock wheels and tires on long enough to feel the difference of the new set up?
I’m also considering this same 34” Falken AT4W tire in C load but they are kinda heavy at 68 pounds.
Have you noticed any performance or mpg loss?
I’m also a surfer and have not figured out a way to not set off the alarm when unlocking with the physical key. It’s very annoying so for now I’m just leaving the key fob dry close by so when I open the door I can quickly grab the fob and press unlock before the alarm gets super loud.
I read...
Thanks @Honeybadger this is very helpful! I really want a C load tire for my eventual wheel/tire/suspension upgrades. I feel like a C load is a good compromise of durability and on road drivability.
You’re correct those 34” C-Load Falken AT4W’s are 68 pounds 😬 I wish they were just 6-8 pounds...
Curious why you went with Toyota 18” wheels versus 17” method wheels?
And for the KO3 C load tires what did you think? Did they also feel too stiff compared to the SL Falkens?
I’m still trying to figure out my eventual wheel/tire upgrade and am torn between Falken AT4W C-load versus BFG KO3...
Now that I’ve noticed this noise I’m now paying closer attention to it.
I noticed today that it didn’t make the sound when going downhill or on flat roads. BUT when I go up the hill to get to my house I hear it.
Has anyone else noticed that they only hear the sound when going uphill?
Only a very minor change in noise from the Falken Rubitrek tires. You’d really have to be listening hard to notice. Now after a few weeks I don’t notice any tire noise.
I agree on waiting for the aftermarket to catch up. Especially for the big upgrades like suspension and wheels/tires. I don't...
Just rolled down my window tonight on a short drive and heard this exact noise. I have 1,300 miles on my LC LC Premium and just had the first oil change done last week at a Jiffy Lube so I didn’t see the oil or have a reason to ask to see it as I hadn’t read this thread until tonight. I’m...
I’m also averaging around 17mpg after 1,200 miles and very light footed driving. LC LC trim w/20” wheels. I submitted a ticket to Toyota at the link above.
I had the Toyo's on my previous Jeep Cherokee and was very happy with them. They should be quieter than the KO2's since a lot of them aren't E-load and have a less agressive pattern.
Other lighter than KO2 AT options you should consider in addition to the Toyo AT3's: Falken Wildpeak AT3's...
Thanks for these suggestions! I’ll definitely look into the Greenlane sliders.
And I’ve been reading up on the 17’s vs 18’s threads. You make some good points. I wonder if anyone running 17’s has had any of these challenges due to the small brake clearance.
Hi, new forum member here from Southern California. I have a Land Cruiser Trim w/Premium Package and 20” wheels and brown leather interior. This is my main daily driver so will spend most of its time on-road but also plan for it to be our camping and road trip vehicle with some off-road trails...
