I’ve noticed this as well. My gas mileage hasn’t seemed to change but I do notice that the hybrid battery kicks in a lot more. And it seems like the shifting is a little smoother. Now, if only I can get rid of the brake squeal when going in reverse…🤔

I went out and took pics of my front brakes. They look the same as the pic that bgeorger posted, with a similar pattern on them. The back ones do not have that brown coating and does not appear to have the same pattern.

Yup, mine did. I brought it into Toyota service and they didn’t find any dust or debris. They said it’s likely because there is some condensation from being parked outdoors overnight. I’m here in Seattle and it was warm with some humidity and cooler at night. I’m inclined to believe them...

I googled the conversion. 1 AU = .65 US. The top trim at $99,990 AU = $64,993.50 US.

I removed mine. It was an 80 degree day, I used a little goo gone and some dental floss, using a kind of sawing motion. It came right off, no adhesive residue or anything. Did have to clean off the goo gone but that was it.

Wish we had the gold color here in US. That’s the color of my 2000 LC. And I did the AU dollar conversion to US, They seem to be less expensive in Australia.

I have a 24 LC premium. Has anyone installed gas hood lift supports? I’m short and can barely lift the hood high enough to put the manual hood lift stick in. If yo8 have, which ones did you use?
