Considering itโs an audio upgrade, leather, sunroof, illuminated running boards, digital key, digital rear view mirror, HUDโฆ Iโd pretty happily pay an extra 3 or 4 grand for that. Probably more. Youโll get 2-3 grand of it back someday when you sell ๐
Looked at Smartpath inventory within 100 miles of me. 8 Land Cruisers (all 1958 Editions) that are not sold or in transit, 2 of them are listed on Smarthpath below MSRP. One of them is 1k below, the other is 2k below.
They mailed a check to me, took half a week or so, so I thought I needed to make sure and have everything completed before the LC arrived โฆ little did I know, now the risk is that the check expires ๐
I doubt any dealer-trading of LCs is going to happen soon. Look at the Toyota inventory page, find whom is getting what you want, and contact them and see if itโs sold yet. IMHO
My understanding is this, the car will arrive at the dealer with a final configuration and matching sticker etc. If you want anything different thatโs between you and the dealer to work out. I donโt think a car would go back to port for anything, rather the dealer would install whatever options...
