Service and parts are a disaster.
Was all set to get one, got serious,,,,,,,,,, back to my greatest joys in wheeling all over the world, LCs rule.
The Grenadier appeals to a very niche group. If it's truly a toy and getting disappointed, the depreciation etc doesn't matter, go head on and...
i beleive there is a high current terminal set in the engine bay for jump starts look for that.
There was a good post here somewhere a few days ago, maybe jump start will find it.
The manual is in the maintenance area.
Page 620 covers getting a jump start. There doesnโt appear to be anything...
As long as there is manual operation when the wireless goes bad for any number of reasons I am sure it can be.
You won't be sorry with the Warn, you may know this already.
I am excited for you this is going to be a great mod and adder to your LC.
Can't wait to see how it comes out and your recommendation to do this to mine or not. My LC should be here about the time you get this completed if you get on it.
If we were a bit closer I would offer to help since you stepped up and will advise the rest of this.
What winch does it use from...
Understand.
It will be interesting to see how this all sorts out. Been through this on several other vehicles. I may be expecting too much when changing things that always affect the steering and handling.
Great project.
Thats alot of weight, alot. How do you compensate for the rear end being lower and the front end wanting to kick up a bit?
I am very temped to do something similar on a second LC base model, however the weight is always an issue in the past.
I am looking at the ARB system because its metal and...
Free enterprise, mo money mo money. Nothing changes.
The true foundation of the US,,,,, we want to keep more for ourselves the rest is window dressing.
And thats ok. Those that get it, get some. Those that don't get none.
It's just the way things work for a good long time yet.

The start stop function is very very well done on the LCs. Almost not noticeable. How the drive train will age is yet to be discovered in general use. Some of us are more interested in trying something newer and requires some creative thinking and open mindedness some not so much. There are...
Amsoil offers several grades of filter for the 2024+ LCs. The longer duration filters offer more filtering residue tolerance. I have been using them for years on various gas and diesel vehicles with great success.
If I get the Jeep trashed with dust, I change the oil and filter ASAP...
20" sportier tires , snow, off wheeling season 18" off road season, aggressive tires for max capability.
Mine comes with 20", will change tires immediately to Mich LTX 33" till spring then 18" rims with KO3s.
Keep what you have for now and buy something really good when you're able. You won't...
I have Fumotos on all my vehicles, top rate in all aways.
I will compare both the Fumuto and stainless rotary unit once they are both here.
I fyou can only pick one get the Fumoto and feel good about it your in good company.
Change your oil often.
LC stock wheels vs aftermarket ?
What's the advantage if any?
The stock wheels seem to be very good. Beadlocks ok, I have them on my Jeep, different application.
Otherwise, looks and maybe bigger wheels is the only thing i see thats really obvious.
Are they lighter, i doubt it, stronger???
It drives like a sports car if you now how to drive it.
Maybe things are different in Canadia. Helps to buy the performance goodies as well or change a few things.
Consider the more important features and don't worry about the seat material both are very good. We like the brown/ tan, material is much less important.
He goes where the best pimping action is. Jeeps are going to be evil as long as the foreign owned company situation continues, ruined. He is a promoter and add guy, nice little nice following. The YouTuber economy.
Is there a way to boost charge the main battery that powers the DC motor?
I don't have a full schematic yet so i don't know if anything ties into that DC circuit that could be used at the correct boost voltage.
Your thoughts?
Ams offers several grades of filter. its not so critical as to what you use as long as you change both more often than not.
For break in the lowest grade AMS filter and oil, i go, 500, 1k, 2k, then every 4k religiously regardless of diesels or gas, have multiples of both. Once broke in i...
Every 4k miles new fiter, no exceptions.
20 years in the petrochemical industry , engineer, the rest is EPA BS.
Amsoil and filters are a top pick of those in the know.
Enjoy.
NorCal fellow incoming 2025 LC expected mid January.
Came back to LCs after a brief Grenadier illness, what a mistake that would have been.
A really good forum from what I have seen and read to date.
Had a few LCs in the middle east and a FJ 40 I miss them all.
