I was able to contact one of my local dealerships today to confirm availability. It turns out there is more than one manufacturer for these wheels. Since it's impossible to see any markings on the mounted wheels, I check the spare and it was a Dicastal. I'm guessing the rest of them are too but...
I had to have a tire replaced on my FE LC today due to a nail right at the edge of the sidewall. Unfortunately, it looks like the tech dragged the face of the wheel across the concrete and gouged it up with the installation tools. The shop agreed to replace the wheel but the LC is not in their...
Looks great! Any rubbing with these? I am trying to figure out if I should go 265 or 275. I'm thinking the 265 may look too narrow like the current Michelins and not as aggressive as the LC should have. I'll also be running the stock wheels.
Mine do the same. I actually noticed this about a week ago and already forgot about it until now. If you want to see another place where the lights flicker, fold down your sunshade, open the mirror cover and move it while the light is on.
As a former 5th gen 4Runner TRD Pro owner, I expect Toyota to add small new features with every model year. The TRD Pro got a front facing camera, adaptive cruise and a heated steering wheel over the last 4 years or so. Is it going to be enough to upgrade? Probably not, at least not anytime soon.
That will spread quickly. I'd recommend having Safelite or another glass repair company drill it right at the end of the crack so it doesn't go any further.
I bought my LC FE at the beginning of August and just sold my 22 4Runner TRD Pro in black this past Friday. It was hard to see it go but the LC has exceeded my expectations so far and it didn't make much sense to keep both of them although I wish I could have. Reliability concerns of the LC...
I had Exoshield installed on mine as soon as I could around 175 miles. I've had it installed on several other vehicles including a 4Runner and it does help, especially with the more vertical windshields. It isn't bullet proof but can help prevent chipping and most defintely helps with pitting...
Anyone considering these? I had the original Grapplers on my 4Runner and overall I was happy with their performance, especially since it saw mostly on road use. It looks like they will be offering an SL version of the 275/70R18 116T and should be 3-Peak rated. I am in Colorado so having a little...
Do you have the part numbers for the front and rear door cards, more specifically for the FE? I'm assuming removal and installion of the rears are the same or easier than the front.
I noticed on my 4Runner the rubber part of the trim in this area is made to fit around the vertical trim much better than it is on the LC. This seems like a small thing Toyota could easily address in the future. If it is, these moldings are usually easy to replace. On the LC there is an...
I had to go check this out on my 4Runner and it works fine with no flicker. Must be something in the visor itself. Not too worried about it at the moment and I really don't want the dealer digging through it until it becomes a "known issue" with an official fix.
I noticed when I open the mirror cover and move the visor the light will flicker. I'm guessing this has to do with some contact in the visor and it happens on both sides. In 2.5 year I've probably use the one in my 4Runner once or twice, so this isn't a huge deal but seems like such a simple...
This is true. Also add the round headlights though, which was my preference. I know people are already working on swaps but I just wanted to get it all in a single package that I didn't have to modify.
This was also a concern of mine but there were 3 things that made me go for it anyways. Those were:
It's a Toyota
It's made 100% in Japan (Mine came out of Tokyo)
It has a warranty
This is also a daily driver for me which I usually don't have more than 2-3 years. I do plan to keep this one...
