Agree with most everything you point out … although I havent noticed any fluctuations in my AC fans. On your lag comment, Ive thought the software interfaces are pretty good and responsive but I'm coming from an F150 and felt it was too laggy especially with wireless carplay

Yeah in my F150 it quieted both the music and reduced the AC fan speeds so it was more quiet. Kind of weird toyota overlooked this.

compared to my F150 I traded in, this LC works amazing … i was really impressed when i first tried it out. Works really well for me here during this hot Phoenix summer.

ive seen videos of body shops using those suction cup things to get door dents out…never seen it done in person but might be an option?

I sympathize. I scratched up the back seat pretty good loading some stuff in the back with seat folded down…its not a good feeling but…theyre character marks

@Rhino-Rack got another newbie Q… never had a roof rack before, what are the supported “mounting” or “tie down” methods for putting stuff on the rack? Is it purely tie down straps? For example could I attach a fishing rod holder with T-slot mounts?

Actually they havent done it yet. In fact i said i wanted ceramic (instead of the metal crap) and they agreed …which is why I was okay with $999. I’m going in friday to have it put on. I have no idea who’s doing it… I’ll be checking my toyota app for car location after I drop it off :)

So if stock is 60 offset and I went with a method wheel with 25 offset, then the wheel would push the tire outwards by 45mm 35mm? I dont want poke and I’d prefer to stay as close to stock size as possible but no one makes a wheel with a 60 offset from what i can see… at least not method, fuel...

Bumping this One… What do you guys all think about reseating at least one cross bar without the dowels and relying on the clamp/rubber grip? Thinking maybe i try the rear one. Has anyone tried this?
