Welcome to the Jungle!
When mine disappeared (the orig one I put a deposit on) was when it was loaded on a rail car, hopefully that's the case with yours.
X2 on the MPH is not a factor, 65mph all electric many times. At a stop light and no one behind me, electric to about 11mph.......... if you even think about pressing the gas pedal, it'll know and start the ICE.
Once you get used to the impact drill/driver and trigger control, you can snug them up without actually torquing them (well maybe a lb or so). I never stripped a bolt with the 20v drill/driver, after all it was made for phillips head screws.
Pro tip:
If you have a destination in mind, add it as a contact and name it and put in the address (no need for a phone number) that way you can recall it by scrolling and touching the map in the contact or ask "Siri" for directions. I have all my Dr. and other places I visit, put in that...
So when I get around to it (too many other mods going on right now).......... I plan to do a cubby with a 1/4" or 3/8" lip around the opening, so basically a open ended box with a bonding lip. I'll mill out the OEM panel to match the open ended box and use some automotive panel bond to marry...
I plan on adding a WeBoost, my current plan (still in the future) is to see if the rear hatch will pinch the cable (top/center) if it doesn't, I'm going to see if the cable can be sealed through the existing boot or add a single cable gland in that same general area.
If your looking for a good quality impact wrench that is dual purpose, I use the Dewalt 20v system. You will have to purchase the "hex to square" bit to use for sockets. The beauty of this system is that it is a impact screwdriver and will drive 3" screws into a 2x4 with no issues and with the...
I've only had ACP drop once, and it was very inconvenient. I also use OnX offroad maps and have the maps downloaded where I normally go. It is a paid subscription tho' but when there isn't any cell coverage it's a life saver. With the premium subscription you can save your route and see other...
I stare at the fob's LED and listen for the click (not really a click) in rapid succession, 3 clicks and holding on the 3rd click. Watch the LED and as soon as it lights and I mean exactly when it lights click it again, hold on the third etc....... every winter it takes me a few times to get it...
I don't think it is a calculation......... IMO it's got to do with how far the fuel pump pickup screen is from the bottom of the fuel tank when it was installed by the manufacturer during assembly. as an example (IDK) it's specified to be 1/4" from the bottom of the tank and for what ever...
Never be afraid to try something, but remember to stop before you do something that can't be undone. If you follow that simple rule, you'll learn a lot! (some examples: drilling a hole when you don't know what's on the other side. Cutting parts of the car off, when you don't know exactly why.)
Pretty sure it has to do with keeping the in tank fuel pump cool............. there is no difference between it running out of gas and the engine shutting off..... either way the engine isn't running and unable to charge the battery, however a fuel pump running and no gas around it or through it...
Sometimes Toyota parts counter is just as cheap as aftermarket......... ie the OEM oil filter is $9........... Worth a phone call or if you visit ask for the part number as you are still making up your mind if you need them.
Depending on what you want and your budget..........
Google "roof rack quick release mount" any machine shop should be able to replicate the mount, some welding shops could copy the basic principle etc........
