I've noticed that happening after my rig is sitting in the rain, and I first drive off. But is water accumulating on your roof while you're driving? Seems like wind would keep it moving off the back.
That’s right, unlocking with the fob unlocks all doors (I have mine set to one press unlocks all instead of requiring a second press) including the hatch. Then I’d have to manually press the button under the hatch handle and lift to open. Alternatively, if the fob is in my pocket, pressing the...
When I unlock the vehicle by fob or door handle touch, the hatch is also unlocked. Also if I have the fob on me, the hatch unlocks when attempting to lift manually.
If you want to relive that history come on over to Oregon! Most highways on the east side are 55, and even I-5 has some stretches of 55 and 60. We couldn't even pump our own gas until last year. I'm pretty sure I also need the government to hold my d__k when I take a piss.
I've been running 33" E load tires for the last month and getting 18-19 around town and 21-22 on the highway.
I just switched to 6-ply because of a couple defective tires and wanted a better ride, will be interesting to see if MPG changes.
I wanted to share my experience with trying out a fairly new A/T tire on my LC.
I've run Nokian winter tires on previous cars, and they were the best performing I've had (Blizzaks were right up there too). So I thought I'd try Nokian's Outpost nAT. I got their 285/70R17, which only come in...
The issue is how much it intrudes on the driver’s field of view. Probably because it was designed for other models that have a more angled windshield, so it doesn’t stick straight down like on the LC. Here’s an example in another thread:

I thought the same thing, so I started watching my iforce and max gauges as I was slowing down. During the clunk I’m noticing on mine, neither of those gauges register anything. I’m not sure what else would account for the clunk except the transmission.
I’ve caught the ‘clunk’ a few times now during the slowdown to a stop. The hybrid gauges don’t register anything, so it seems like a hard downshift rather than hybrid kicking in. Not sure if it’s something a software update could fix or not.
Dude, that sounds too technical for me. Peel? What tool do I use to peel, like a patato peeler?? And press, how many ft/lbs do I apply? I'm just gonna sell my LC, I'm out.
Same here except when I'm coming to a stop, maybe 1 out of 10 times there's a clunk. It doesn't really bother me, but I'll have to watch my gauges carefully and try to catch if it's just a hard downshift or the hybrid regen is kicking in?
I reached out to them and they said “ It only works on Tacoma”. So I tried to clarify if they knew it DOESN’T work on the LC or just unknown. He just repeated his first ambiguous statement. I’m thinking about trying it and returning if it doesn’t work.
He's just shouting at strawmen... "Guns don't kill people, people do! You're a product of your news outlet!" He's not even having a debate with anyone here, just spouting npc jargon. Go enjoy a beer and let him shout at the clouds.
Can anyone with a 1958 help me find the menu item for viewing tire pressure? I found how to reset the TPMS, or rotate the tires, but don't see an item in that vehicle settings section to just view current psi. The manual gives me the run around directing from page 556 to 99 and back again.
