Thanks for the pics, I’m looking at Dobinsons. Would you describe the result as level or slight reverse rake? It’s hard to tell without a straight on side pic, but some pics look like slight reverse rake.
I have 285/75/17 open country III tires with a +25 offset 8.5” wheel on mine. I can take pictures if you want, it comes very close to the bottom at full turn but doesn’t rub. I bet it would rub at the top at full compression, but haven’t tested. I’m putting a 2.5” lift on it so not worried in my...
Unfortunately this seems like trend with them, had their rocksliders for three weeks before they put out install info. Wouldn’t have been an issue except they had rivet nuts that needed drill outs, so I needed instructions.
This guy has some notes and pics for his build about installing and wiring an ARB compressor under the hood:

I was surprised too, but I have a 1958 and indeed the black plastic trim on the fenders is flush, where the other trims it sticks out a bit (1/2in ?). I parked next to an LC trim in town and compared. Plus someone on the IH8MUD posted the upper trim part numbers, but you’d have to search that...
Would you mind posting a pic of the side straight on like in the pic below? The pic below is from the Westcott install video, but I've seen other LCs with this lift that ended up with reverse rake.
Are you braking when it makes the sound? If so, there a couple threads already going. If not, that would be interesting.

The dobinson doesn’t include a UCA or diff drop, but says both are required for 2.5” kit. Did you find a compatible UCA for this kit?
For King I’m only seeing their “OEM” suspension kit with no lift. If you see otherwise a link would be appreciated.
I have a 1958. The six speakers are 4 woofers in front and rear doors, and 2 in the dash. There is no center dash speaker in the 1958, you can see it's missing in the amp install video posted on the forum. I can see a sub in the rear hatch but it makes no sound from the music played regardless...
The problem is, a lot of people feel compelled to share their opinion before they have all the facts. Can't tell you how many times people have tried to tell me what kind of tire I should run, who have never been to the high-desert in Oregon. Haven't gone off road with sharp volcanic rock...
I don't have any regrets with getting the 1958. I was hesitant about the cloth seats too, my first choice would have been softex. Personally, I would choose the cloth over leather. The 'cloth' appears to be a woven, thick/wide thread synthetic. So it doesn't look like it's going to wear in the...
