From what I’ve seen around souther California, the 1958s all have delivery dates and my dealer said he even had one to sell. The LC and FE seem to have been impacted by the QC. Checking with my dealer now on any updates, will report back:
Thanks - mistake on my part I edited. Leg room is significantly worse (~10 inches) in both rows.
Based on sitting in both cars I didn’t feel that to be the case, so curious if there’s an error online.
curious for folks who have taken delivery if they feel that the dimensions listed online are correct.
my wife has a 2017 rav4 hybrid and based on the dimensions listed online the LC has:
Slightly worse headroom in front and second row
Slightly better shoulder room in front and second row...
Yeah I hear you on that. I was cross shopping the LC with an X5 or X7 and decided to bet on brand reliability. The B58s have been good in the SUVs but they are still kind of new in them (think 2019 they started getting included the suv). My Audis (diff brand by German) all started to crap out...
I
Unless you get it used isn’t the X7 quite a bit more expensive than the LC? And then add in maintenance costs and the fact that BMW is (IMO) highly unreliable after 80k miles…. Coming from owning back to back Audis over the past 15+ years getting a reliable and durable Toyota truck sounds so...
I’m not very car savvy… if this is the issue, does it seem like a hard one to fix or just a dangerous potential issue? Seems kind of easy to me, again I’m not super car savvy so forgive if this is a dumb question
I’ve driven one and it seemed more than okay for normal driving. I was in a crowded area of San Diego driving on the street and 2 freeways. I currently drive an Audi Q5 for reference. Didn’t notice any massive difference with pick up speed for merging etc, I was actually pretty impressed by the...
Also - should say I’ve got a 14 month old daughter and hoping for one more kiddo in next 1-2 years. So the running boards are preferred to make access easier for them down the road. Would love to throw on power running boards if that becomes an option at some point.
Yeah I just felt that the extra $ for the FE was more off-road based features - rock rails, better skid plate, mud flaps, etc. LC with premium package gets me everything I need and I think I like the rectangular lights better too. Mines on QC hold at Long Beach, hopefully that lifts soon as the...
Thank you! Believe this is in San Diego - my coworker said he saw it on the road and looked great! Which prompted my question as I’ve seen 3 FEs in person but none of the midgrade (and i recently swapped down to mid grade since I’m not an off roader)
Does anyone have real world photos of the LC mid-trim with premium package???
I’ve seen many real world photos of the FEs (and seen 3 in real world, 2 at dealer & 1 on road) and I’ve seen real world pics of the 1958.
Haven’t seen any real world pics of mid level trim. Curious how it all...
Mine was supposed to be processed in Long Beach today and is on QC hold.
As is the FE that I had previously reserved and was supposed to be here 2 weeks before the LC trim w/ premium package which I switched to.
Agree at one time it said manual passenger seat..:. I remember because when I saw that it was almost a deal breaker ($70-80k car with manual passenger seat?!?).
That said, I have seen two FEs in person and can confirm the passenger seat is power.
I’ve seen the heritage blue, black, and meteor shower in person.
They all look amazing! The black is super clean looking…
I’m going meteor shower myself but I’d be happy with any of them.
Yeah it must be smart path, it’s just the inventory page on Toyota website after you build a model.
I put in the filters for my car and it comes up pretty easily.
My dealership contacted me yesterday that it’s on schedule to process tomorrow (hope that’s true!).
Checked the website today and it no longer gives a delivery date range but says it’s in build phase and contact dealer for availability.
Would love to pick it up within the next week!
Very interested to see how this progresses as I also live in San Diego and would imagine I’ll get close to your level of fuel efficiency.
I have a LC trim reserved coming at end of the month and am working through if it’s the car I want. I don’t off road / overland, but I am actively outdoors...
Agree! I really want the roof rack for my LC premium and they aren’t available through Toyota yet. Would love to buy one from someone here who may not need it / would be installing a different rack.
Hey all… new to the forum, waiting on my Meteor Shower LC trim later this month. Live in San Diego but picking up the car near Anaheim because I found a dealer not marking up there.
I’ve driven back to back Audis (A4 and now currently a 2012 Q5). Love that Audis but I also like to drive my...
