Even if the gate is operational, these can open the exit gate. You did this by sliding a piece of metal underneath the gate on top of the metal detector in the asphalt. That's how a gate opens automatically when you pull up to it. The best deterrent for that would be to use your code to open...
I'm a little confused. You're right it does disassemble small in pieces but what do you want me to DM you for? You can DM me and let me know. Sorry, I'm having brain farts.
I think I am but I wouldn't even know how to package that thing up to ship it.
If you have any ideas let let me know and make me your best offer. I think it sells for 1400 but I have to verify that.
a 1.5 - 2
Is there a way to enable it to stay on at any speed? I would like to do that but have my rear camera on.
The digital rear-view mirror makes a car look like they're about to hit your bumper when stopped. I have to use it driving because I put limo tint on the back window and I'm barely barely...
I just did mine. Have you done yours yet? I can send a few pictures it's pretty simple.
I went to a Toyota dealer and got the roof drip covers but they don't work by themselves. I'm pretty pissed about it. I put the bolts back in two holes at each place and it looks retarded for now.
They...
There is only one knob to do that. But on the steering wheel you have a voice command button on the bottom left I believe. Give it a try the way I used it.
If it doesn't work let me know and I'll make you a video of how it worked for me
I just tried to voice command. I said open Sirius XM and she did.
Then I said turn off the audio and she did.
Of course you can use her to change stations of whatever. But I agree, that is the most retarded place for an on off button!
I didn't try it but I suspect you can turn it on by hitting...
That's exactly what I need it for except my kid is four legged and she's newly rescued.
As a matter of fact I almost lost my life over her going to pick her up. That's when I totaled my Tacoma. You can see the post about it.
Any chance you'll show me how to do it?
I hate using my iPhone to do...
I'm about to remove mine. I just had to order those rectangular caps once the rack is removed. $75 for six of them!
They printed me out the installation instructions and I'm certain I can follow it in reverse to remove it.
I was wondering if you had any tips on the removal?
You know, I read that the first time you posted that and I forgot to try it that way.
I didn't know you could do it that way, but thanks cause I'll need to remember that for the next time. I've ruined a few of them in the past.
I'm wanting to remove mine but we live so far apart. When I bought it I said that roof rack really made the vehicle but now I'm just not so sure. I suppose that's why you want to put it on because of how good it makes the vehicle look and not because you're going to use it?
I it's been a while since you posted this but I really been contemplating removing it myself and I believe I'm going to be doing that tomorrow.
Did you wind up removing yours and if so the results?
A little over 20 years ago (Dang, I can't believe it's been that long) I tested my F150 with a thermometer. It was pretty consistent at about 122º to 125º in the summertime. I put a windshield sunblock in and with those vent visors in the windows cracked about an inch, the temperature was pretty...
Dang! I really wanted that cargo area cover. It helps the rest of the vehicle cool down a whole lot faster.
Those still protectors are really cool and I really like using the window visors.
I like the in channel window vents. I can't find them yet. Haven't checked with the dealer either.
I'm guessing this is just supposed to show us what we're missing out on at the moment? I imagine some of these things are available from dealerships like the mudflaps and they sell protectors and the ejection seat conversion kit?😳
I'm only up to 460 miles. I got a new rescue dog otherwise I would've had that thing broken in in a week.
(Sure is weird putting the word "in" two times in a row. Sure we all speak that but to see it in print is weird.)
Ditto here. The Tacoma's have a fake engine noise coming out of the speakers. I didn't know it for a while until I finally saw the Carista mentions, which I didn't even know existed.
So that was the first thing I killed in my truck was that fake engine noise.
Just did mine 15 minutes from start to finish piece of cake. If you have trouble with those little plastic things, I used a small little 90° pick. It worked great after I got two of them up with just a fingernail before I broke my nail.
You shouldn't ruin the plastic pieces but if you should, I...
Yeah I have mine from my Tacoma and it worked awesome. If any of you have trouble getting it to link with your app, just uninstall the app and reinstall it. It worked for me and quite a few others on the Tacoma forum.
You don't even need that if you use your cell phone with the Toyota app linked...
I agree with that Toyota technology there. This Land Cruiser has the exact same menus in the instrument cluster as well as the entertainment center with some additional menus of course, and it's just as buggy as the Tacoma.
The biggest thing is that instrument cluster settings change. 12 or...
I always use a wet towel and a dry one behind it on the inside glass. As long as I wipe with the dry towel until it's straight free there will be none just like doing the rain-X thing. I haven't used glass cleaner on the inside for years. Try the comparison and see if you know the difference.
I...
If you use Carista for the Land Cruiser, let us know your results.
I used it for my 24 Tacoma. It was a little buggy as far as remote starting the truck with the key fob and putting the windows are down although they did work. I just had a little trouble getting the sequence right because I...
I feel for you Brother. I'm just amazed it was an 82-year-old that was taking pictures of what he thought was your lifeless body! I'm glad Gretchen helped you with your pain.
I used to like riding at night for some reason back in the 80s. There was only 300,000 👀🤔people on earth, so my little...
I am also going to upgrade my SD card by the way you suggested. I'm confident it will work especially with these new super Duper fast hypersonic supersonic SD cards. Sandisk is my favorite.
I turned Bluetooth off and I had no issues connecting to it after trying unsuccessfully to connect to it...
