I had to have a tire replaced on my FE LC today due to a nail right at the edge of the sidewall. Unfortunately, it looks like the tech dragged the face of the wheel across the concrete and gouged it up with the installation tools. The shop agreed to replace the wheel but the LC is not in their list yet so they will have to order through a local dealership. I know some, if not all parts for these things have a long wait time. I'm going to call the dealership Monday to see what they say but has anyone had any experience getting a wheel replacement yet and how long did you have to wait?

I was able to contact one of my local dealerships today to confirm availability. It turns out there is more than one manufacturer for these wheels. Since it's impossible to see any markings on the mounted wheels, I check the spare and it was a Dicastal. I'm guessing the rest of them are too but I'm curious if anyone has ones made by the other manufacturer listed. My concern is that if the shop orders a Type F vs a Type G there will be a color difference. Another thing I noticed is the Dicastal's are made in China. I'm not sure where the others are made.

There’s lots of shops that specialize in wheel refinishing that could be a temporary solution. Some videos on YouTube also.
