Side View Mirror Defogger Indicator

Hey All,

I have a premium land cruiser tier. I'm wondering if the side view mirror defogger indicator lights up for other people's LCs when in use. I turned on my rear window defogger and the mirrors definitely got warm so they work, but the indicator on the mirror never lit up. Is it supposed to?

Mine do not light up, and my 4Runner had the same marking that didnt light up either.
 
Thats funny they dont light up. Looks like it should. I havent needed heat yet so havent turned them on.
 
I don’t think they are meant to light up. Just indicate and remind you that you have that as an available option when the occasion arises.
 
Pretty much identifies the glass as having a heating element mounted on the reverse vs a glass with no heating element.
