QC hold 5/17/24 in Port

Very sad and frustrating, that Toyota cannot be more informational/open regarding the hold(s). As adults, we can handle it...
If anyone hears their LC has been released from the quality hold, please let us all know. Thanks.

Mine arrived at Long Beach 5/13. Original estimated delivery between 5/19 and 6/19.
Current status: perpetual purgatory

This is what mine said yesterday. Still on QC hold but moved to transit, but probably still sitting at Long Beach.

Drove by the Kansas City BNSF regional distribution center for Toyota today on the way home from work to see how many are being held up here. I would say there are probably 10-15 Land Cruisers and GX550’s randomly scattered about amongst the vehicles waiting to be loaded on semis so not that many.
Some had roof racks as they have already come from port installation. We’ve had a few hail storms in the past few weeks across the area and some damaged vehicles in our neighborhood. Hopefully these avoided damage. Probably would have been better for Toyota to release these to let dealers park them in a showroom rather than leaving them outside.

I vented to my salesman today and he has a Toyota regional rep as a personal friend and he confirmed part of the issue is a Stability Control Software Issue. Stated some had an issue while others did not. Which lends itself with someone posting their LC/FE had initials on the front lug nuts when they took possession.
What is the size of tires if you get mid tier Landy with Premium Package? Does premium package includes running boards? Found out if you have 5 (11th digit) after R at 10th digit, assembly was done at Tahara city plant, in Aichi prefecture in Honshu island. It has a Toyota museum.
My delivery date was 4/28 -LC edition w/premium pack. It’s frustrating that it’s still sitting in Benecia , CA but more frustrating that the dealers don’t get updates or info on what the issue is.

Both factories will put out the same quality. Quality is held to the same standard across all factories.

Hino has been building trucks for decades. Both factories are japanese and held to the same standards. Tahara is just more well known due to the models they've been involved in producing.
