I am thinking to purchase a set of wheels for the winter tire, which is 265 70/R18 but have no idea what will be the good offset for the rims? I have the 20 inch OEM wheels which have offset 60 and it is impossible to find the same offset wheels. If I bought a set of 18 inches wheels of offset 30, will them fit?

I would do +40-45, because it would allow you to fit bigger tires later if wanted.

I just use it for winter tires and probably won't put bigger tires. Will 30 work?

30 would stick out a bit further than necessary for a 'stock' size, but some people like that.

Will 35 stick out a bit further? Or 40 will be ideal?
It really depends on how wide a tire you're going to install; 35 would stick out a bit further, but with a narrow (stock) tire it would likely not be very noticeable. With a wide tire it would be noticeable.

Mine are +25 offset and I think they are just right. Maybe .25" poke.

The winter tire will just be 265 70/R18.
