When will LC250 arrive Canada

Seeing a car for sale on a website, especially with only stock photos doesn't mean it's physically on the lot. I tried phoning just now, but they may be shut for the day. Did you see the vehicle?
Many dealers have that on their website. I think it's just a gimmick to lure people in.

Anyone from Canada has received the VIN #? Ordered first edition, and my dealership says the is no update yet, not even VIN # = the car has not been built.

These are almost two months old pictures in BC at the port. Not sure why Toyota is silent.

Presumably, they have the same QC issue as State side.
Probably true but atleast Toyota could acknowledge that and give us some idea as to when they will be released. Dealers over here don't even know LC have landed.

Agreed. Not sure what Toyota think they are accomplishing by being so tight-lipped.

Not sure I true this is but my buddy who works at port told me, lot of customers have cancelled their orders for LC which has made dealers cancel their orders with toyota canada and hence land cruisers are piling up at the port. He is going to send me the video of landcruiser parked at the port. Now is, the quality hold or cancelled orders remains to be seen. As per toyota canada website lc will be released in canadian market in 2024 spring. Spring ends June 19th so 10 more days hopefully and we will hear something

Given the state of the economy, cost of living, and interest rates (all courtesy of an incredibly inept government), I'd believe there have been numerous cancellations. That said, I'm sure there are still buyers out there.

The total silence is what's so weird to me. My dealer never did respond to my request for some sort of update.

Same my dealer also did not respond to my email as well. I am guessing they have nothing to send a reply.

There are always going to be cancellations. I'm pretty sure the dealers would still want a shiny new entrant into the market on their lots. My theory is that all the engineers and mechanics trained for the sunroof fix are down south and won't come up here till they've inspected and fixed the US models. They could ship out the 1958s if they wanted, but they'd have to rename the First Edition to Second Edition.

What is the procedure for importing one from the states? Can it be done for a new vehicle

Talked to my dealer this week. They are planning for a July launch for the Land Cruiser in Canada. I’ve already seen a GX550 at the attached Lexus dealership.

Yes. But it’s a nuisance and costly. A friend of mine did it with a Land Rover special edition, and I’ve imported a trailer which is slightly easier.

What province is that in?

Port Moody Lexus had a white GX a few weeks ago. We looked at it just to get a feel for the size in person. quite a bit bigger than we thought but looked nice.
