đź‘‹ Welcome to the new Land Cruiser Forum - Please post an introduction thread!

My wife and I want to get a pull behind travel trailer. We went to look at a 4Runner, and ended up with an 1958 LC. We both just loved the interior and the look. We have been a Subaru family for years, but you’re not pulling a travel trailer with a CVT. 🤣
Just the 2 of us and 2 aussies that are our kids. We mtn bike and hike all the time.

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. I currently have a 2004 LX470 & a 2025 Land Cruiser. In my searches regarding these 2 vehicles I often find myself reading through the posts on this forum so I decided to join. As you will see in my pics I like gray lol…

Been a long time lurker, put my name on her about a month ago. Picked her up from Antioch Toyota yesterday. Loved the drive home and to dinner. I'm coming from a Model Y and really miss the storage space. Bison shelf is top of mind for the trunk.

My introduction, currently driving a Prius, I usually rent a a four wheel drive vehicle when I hike remote places, now thinking about getting a Land Cruiser mini when it comes out.

Hey Ya'll! Laura from SC! Been a Sequoia girl since 2005. Square body Landcruiser had been my dream car since I could drive. Husband had been trying to buy me a new LC since the square body came back. After a few snow days stuck in the house, he finally broke me down. Just traded my 19 Sequoia SR5P for a 2025 LC 1958. Was scared to death, but have NO REGRETS yet. No kids or animals so this is just my daily driver. Husband has a Gladitor and Chevy 2500 for pulling needs. I am in love with this thing. It is soooo fun to drive!

It'll tow 6000lbs, which isn't bad for a unibody platform. Yeah, a Turbo-Diesel is always the best option for this type of vehicle, this is my second one. But alas, no more.
So this may be an odd post on the LC Forum, but after scanning the 2024 LC reviews on 0-60 time, EPA rated and actual mpg, I ended up with a 2025 X5 xDrive 40i, and it's been a great car. I still see new LC's on the road and they look good, but given how well this model X5 is ranked on Customer Satisfaction, and the success of our prior 2015, it just made sense. Surprisingly, the mileage is not that much different from the prior 35d. Last month the average mpg was 25, but it's starting to break in now and I've been having a little more fun with it.

Welcome to the Jungle....... Lots of good advice on this forum and lots of "so-so" advice. Do your own research and make up your mind what's best for you and yours.

Hi all. No cruiser yet, but it’s at the top of our list.

Currently drive a 2017 BMW X6 and love it. However, every rock that hits the car I shed a tear. We live in central BC, winter, sand and gravel are concerns for 6 months.

I’ve loved the LC since I was a wee lad, 45 years ago. Currently considering a 2026 premium with Java interior and a wrap in the colour we want.

Finally got my 2025 Land Cruiser in Underground yesterday. Already removed the running boards with plans to replace with rock sliders. Ordered some KO3's to replace the Michelin's with also. Looking forward to many more improvements and getting off the road out here in the West. The Land Cruiser joined our 2010 4Runner and 2013 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams. The FJ has been my baby for 12 years now. Thought about selling it for the Land Cruiser but in the end I just couldn't do it! Lucky for my soon to be 16 year old;)

Welcome! Tasteful fleet of vechiles

Hello everyone! I've been following the new LC250 since it's initial release, just drooling at how it would be a perfect fit to my lifestyle, needs, and wants. At the time, I owned a 2020 Toyota 4Runner - the vehicle that made me fall in love with the off road and overlanding life, and has given me 125,000 miles of pure joy.

Fast forward to mid January of this year and what began as a 1 hour oil change turned into a 5 hour negotiation battle for this 1958. At 10:30pm I said goodbye to my trusty 4Runner and said hello to my first ever new car purchase.

I absolutely love this car through and through! I sometimes miss the 4Runner, but I'm finding that I just miss the memories that I made with it and not the actual technical features. So time to go on new adventures with this one and continue with the build!
