Video showing the hybrid battery in rear and its components

Using the hybrid power and turbo boost displays while driving, I’m under the impression that the hybrid motor doesn’t do very much. In normal driving, it kicks in for a fraction of a second during acceleration from a stop. If you put your foot in it a little, it comes on for a longer duration, but only a second or so. What I attributed to hybrid acceleration when leaving a stoplight is in reality turbo boost instead. I wish there was an option to run it on engine power alone. I don’t think you’d notice much of a difference. The hybrid's power of suggestion is indeed a powerful thing. I’ve yet to check if the hybrid motor comes on for a longer duration during full throttle acceleration, as I’m still being nice to my new engine.

It’s great to have all that extra torque available from the electric motor, but how long does it’s output really last? It’s not usable torque unless it’s available to use.
