I suggest testing the USB cable somewhere else (not the car), or try another one. Sometimes they give problems.

That's exactly what I need it for except my kid is four legged and she's newly rescued.
As a matter of fact I almost lost my life over her going to pick her up. That's when I totaled my Tacoma. You can see the post about it.
Any chance you'll show me how to do it?
I hate using my iPhone to do it because the screen is so damn small and I like the way you have it up on the dash so you can just glance at it momentarily.
I'm using blink cameras with the blink app but I don't know how to get that to a screen like you have unless you're using your phone to Bluetooth it to the screen.

Question for all of you— I have a first edition and it has the 3 usbc ports as pictured by StickerFab above. Are all three usbc ports the same (for charging)? The far left one has the usb symbol next to it snd the two on right have battery charger symbol. I cant find in manual where it differentiated them.

Only the left one can be used to connect to the media system (ie carplay). The other two are for charging only.

I believe they are all the same wattage.
