UK RECALL - MI Display

Hello everybody - I recently received a recall letter on my 24 LC 250 FD related to the Display

It talks of options to have it updated by a download they send or take to dealer

As we are talking about a UK vehicle how does the over the air update operate ? Do I need to connect the MyToyota app or use CarPlay ? I know some vehicles have a SIM and operate as their own Wi-Fi hub - pretty sure UK vehicles do not have that functionality

Would be interested in thoughts

PS - I spoke with the dealer but they were as usual lovely but clueless

Not sure on the LC but on my Taco (no CarPlay) once your Toyota subscription is active, it's almost automatic.
