They are likely just holding out to see what shakes out.

Better than Ford's"Employee Pricing" shell game, which actually increased prices (unless you are a terrible negotiator) because they pulled almost all rebates and promos. I have an F150 getting delivered in a few days, my poor salesguy (who is actually a decent human-being) is getting swamped by people who bought last month and think they have been bamboozled.

Saw a commercial for this, and it said it excludes Bronco, Mustang, Super Duty, and F150. That would pretty much kill it for me.

F150 isn't on the list. All the Raptors, SuperDuty, Expedition, Specialty Mustangs and Broncos, all the E's and F's... I'm not sure what that leaves open 🤣.

My sales guy said one person called ranting, they had gotten an Expedition last month for $8k below sticker, he explained to them they would get a $3k discount on it now, maybe.

I know the F150 counts because I got another $500 off the one I ordered, and it was already at or just below invoice. I had a better quote from Ganger, but my sales guy was smart enough to go a little higher and brought up the whole traveling to Iowa and back. Ford is special, my truck is sitting in the rail yard, 10mi from the dealership, estimated delivery date of 4/14-4/21. 🤣

*After getting my LC, I seriously considered cancelling the order and getting a Tundra, ugly grill and all, but it would have been difficult to find it w/o a sunroof.

Dealer near me is now advertising current cars on the lot as “Tariff Free Vehicles.” I put a deposit down on a LC Premium coming in late May at another dealership and they’re trying to get me to cancel the order and buy a 1958 from them because “it will be $7-12k higher by then.” BS. I hate dealerships of all kinds. But I’m sure that they get so many people to believe them that they will never stop.

I bought a cargo cover for my wife’s LC last week of March, I wanted to make sure it fit properly and looked good before I went ahead and ordered one for my 1958. So yesterday on the 4th, I went in to order for the 1958, price increased by $32. I asked about the increase and was told tariff pricing has started on parts. Lovely.

Maybe it is up to individual dealerships how they want to price things, no idea. Oh well, it is a buy once thing and it isn’t the end of the world, especially considering the price of the vehicle to begin with-although one could argue it should have come with one standard to begin with.
