Toyita forgot a light for rear Cargo Area??

I guess UK FE is the same as Kazakh version. Comparing to US version in Kazakhstan FEs don't have:
-hybrid.
-FE roof rack
-FE skid plates
-FE mud flaps
-FE rocksliders
-tailgate lights
-road signs assistant
-sun roof

FEs have in base:
-rear heated and ventilated seats
-volume knob in the center
-hdmi port
-cargo cover
-headlights washer
-FE labels
-Geolandar AT tires
-FE floor mats
____________
Non-FE versions in Kazakhstan can be equipped with 2,7 NON-TURBO gasoline or 2,8 turbo-diesel. You can also choose a 3rd row in a LC. And we don't have 1958.
No we have 2.8 diesel but we do have lots of the toys just with a few missing - it’s got steps and a panaramic roof etc

That's a good solution, IDK if lower trims are wired in the hatch for lights. "Rear Hatch Light Orig" pic are where the wire connectors are located in the hatch.

Just to confirm, those wires in the picture were present in your vehicle already? So could just be a matter of buying the proper light from Toyota and cutting a hole?

I have the FE and all the connectors are there (with lights connected to them) I do not know if the lower trims come with the wiring installed but not the lights.

I'm thinking these would be a good OEM look......

Do you happen to have the PN of the liftgate with the lights ?

FEs have in base:
-hdmi port
Having seen pics of this mythical hdmi port, does it actually display video on the screen from external sources? I can’t imagine what else it would do, but being in N.America I also can’t conceive of a car maker or governing body doing or allowing this. Even with a ‘vehicle must be in park’ lockout.

DenisLM, the location of the lights in the links you attached are not where the OEM lights on the FE are located.

To be honest I didn't remove the lights when I had hatch trim off.
Still if just the trim PN would be useful
But it’s all good.

Yes, this is more of an alternative or add on for the FE lights

In some trims, there are the 4 dinky lights and the dome lamp in the cargo area. Theoretically, that could be adequate for just inside the vehicle and its hatch area.

Has anyone investigated simply putting in higher watt or brighter bulbs?

So I had the rear cargo hatch trim off again and I took some pictures of the OEM cargo light. You will also need the square keeper.

Interesting is the hole in the trim panel is round and not square.

Awesome! Thanks for the picture of the lights.

Do you have any pictures of the trim itself ?

CA Tuned Offroad may have the solution if you’re looking to add sufficient cargo light. They just released an upper shelf that as an integrated slot for a Baja designs dome light that can be easily tapped into one of the dome lights on either side.
