Tow pitch and departure angle.

Hi,

I am from NZ and new to 4x4. Here is a picture of standard tow kit setup. Is this harness position affecting departure angle and should had better put some other position?

In practice, is this really matter ?

Any opinion helps.

If you don't wheel much it likely won't be too much of an issue, but that would drive me batty if I had to look at that placement all the time (I'd move it, but I'm rather detail oriented... I guess in a bad way lol).

Same feeling here. I observed a bit of others LC300s and it seems people live with it. Also I noticed that the harness is sharing a bit of same protrusion with the tail pipe. May be that’s already a “better position other than cutting bumper skin.
