Anyone's tow hitch become a little discolored? The new shiny black color is gone and it now has a foggy white film look to it. Anyone know what could cause this? Sun exposure? It's sort of hard to see in the photo.

Good grief, it is a tow hitch! Same metal/paint as the vehicle frame. I suppose one could apply a coat of polish if they wished. Welcome to the forum, DallasLC...
It'll rust soon, to a nice orange patina.
And even then, i’m still not putting the GD diaper back on it. Rust FTW!!!
I painted mine with black wheel paint and clear coat.
