I think this is a better look for the tow hitch, instead of that big plastic cover.

I wish I could find one.

I had this internal debate:

• Should I remove that ugly diaper cover?
• Maybe not? It protects the hitch from the rain/snow/dirt/rocks/etc.
• Yeah, true, but without the diaper the hitch can air-dry and dirt will naturally fall off. Also the diaper will keep the moisture and accelerate corrosion. . .

This plug thing sounds like a good compromise. I'll shop around and try to find one that goes deeper inside the hitch to give it a bit of extra protection from water/snow getting inside the tube. Any recommendations are welcome!

The small cover came with the vehicle and I ordered the hitch plug from Toyota.

Mine was supposed to come with the small cover but the dealer can't find it or isn't supplying it. Need to purchase it on my own. is there an on-line place to purchase it? The dealer is of no help.
