Falkens AT3's 265/70/18s SL only weigh 38lbs and are slightly larger than 275/70/18s.
Wonder if no rub and could fit without having to lift (vs the 285 70 r18)?

Are the Falken AT#’s rated with that triple peak snow thingy?

Yes, A/T3W and A/T4W are 3-peak rated.

From what i recall, every Wildpeak tire is three-peak rated with the exception of some OEM models (which might just be a legal thing? e.g. the OEM Wildpeak AT-Trails on some models do not have 3-peak, while the exact same Wildpeak trail you can buy does have the 3-peak rating)

Double check these numbers. Falken’s website shows the 265/70/18 SL weighing 46.7 lbs and has a 32.6 in diameter which is the same as the stock Michelins

Thanks TW. I was going to buy Toyo Open Country ATIII’s, but Dave (the Toyota guy on YouTube) said he liked the Faulken AT3’s better. So if good enough for him, I think I will do the same. Especially since they are not overweight compared to the Michelins.

Welcome to the forum LCSpecial.

Based on some of the monster tires some of the guys have been putting on their LC’s, I am reasonably sure you could.

Apparently the 3 peak rating comes from a European/EU requirement to certify a tire as suitable for winter use. So some companies choose to not certify some or all of their tires.

I replaced my stock 20" Toyota wheels with 18" Black Rhino Alpha rims and Falken Wildpeak A/T4W tires. Here are particulars and pictures. Ordered through Discount Tire.

Tires - FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T4W 265 /70 R18 116T SL BSW
Rims - BLACK RHINO, Alpha, 18 X9 6-139.70 0 BKMTGL
Tire pressure monitors (I’m keeping my Toyota tires and rims, would like to sell) – Dill TPMS Sensor, DIL DIL 7007HP 71 315 Clamp-in 6YR/72K

Thank you for your welcome ultane! I just like that the AT3 are lighter than the smaller At4s in SL. I'm looking forward to new shoes for this puppy :)

Need advice from experts. I am thinking of buying the TRD 18-In. Flat Black Alloy Wheel (Part Number: PTR56-35242-F1). Wondering if these rims will work with my LC? Thanks in advance.

Just picked up my Land Cruiser First Edition yesterday afternoon. Replaced stock tires with BF Goodrich KO3s in original OEM size of 265/70R18 124S RWL. Wasn’t sure how the RWL would look on the vehicle, but I really like it!

Are you going to sell your stock wheels if you buy the TRD’s? I’m looking to buy a set of the OEM LC/FE 18” rims.
