Thule Wingbar Edge Low Profile Cross Bars

How do they sound at 70mph?
I have the same ones, just returned from a 700 mile round trip, 350 of which had a MTB on a Kuat Trio mounted.
No noise issues from the rack even with a bike!

Haven’t had the chance to hit the freeway but at 50 they barely made any noise but I could hear a small amount of additional noise. Driving along the coast with wind max noise was 26 dba and with them it rose to 32 max. That’s still in green area on their scale just above the blue.
I’m sure it will increase at higher speeds and adding the ski rack and then skiis snowboards it continues to get worse, but that’s expected.

Curious how the Grip 6 installs with the t-slot! Post pics! I have one on a shelf in the garage but haven’t cracked it out and bought the tslot kit yet.

Absolutely insane price to pay for these cross rails.
Notice in this video they didn't use Thule cross bars. I've seen complaints on the Internet from people who tried t-slot direct mount Kuat Grips to Thule bars. Thule probably would prefer you to mount their gear racks to their bars instead
I see this guy used the standard Kuat claw mounts to Thule cross bars
I'm thinking the Kuat/Yakima/Thule t-slot direct mount kits with M6 bolts should also work for LC250 OEM/"First Edition" style short roof rack cross bars which can fit an M8 sized bolt. Curious if others have had different experiences.

Yes that’s correct, if you want the black ones.
Thank you! Looking for something low profile as well. That can support a ski box and possibly an awning. I’ll have to see if an awning could attach or if I’d need a full rack

I forgot to mention you might want to order the 2 or 4 pack keys from Thule as well. If you buy Thule box I think you can use same key for all. Thule One-Key System | Thule | United States
