We’ve been looking at the GX and the Land Cruiser, took my wife with me who is 5 foot 3 and is disabled because of her thigh.
Love the truck. Love the crisp steering. Love the acceleration. Love the interior space.
Absolutely hate the battery hump. There is no flat floor, I would probably have to build some type of box to get a flat load floor for loading bikes in the back.
The battery hump also makes it difficult for my wife to reach in and load things into the cargo area and she absolutely hates it. As in she said there is no fucking way that she is using this vehicle if we buy it.
Was really hoping that maybe Toyota has thought about offering a non-hybrid version, otherwise it might be another 4Runner for us… or the GX.
