Subtle tire upgrade

275/60-20 Continental TerrainContact, either the AT or HT depending on what you want out of them. Fantastic tire, not inexpensive. Out performs the MS2, which is also a great tire.

I have the AT.
Are these good on the road / highway as well?

Very, very good wet as well, they are a road focused AT. They brake well, they are quiet. Had them on my F150, put them on my LC within days of getting it. They are a softer compound, depending on your driving, they may wear more quickly, but Cont will back their warranty.

If you don’t care about the somewhat AT look, I would get the HT which is a really impressive tire and lasts longer. The latter actually outperforms the Mich. I almost went with the HT and probably should have since my LC is for city use and the occasional improved dirt road.

Depending on temp, they can get a flat spot after sitting overnight, goes away in a block or two.

Look up the review on Tire Rack, their testing, then compare the results.

I plan on riding the stock tires until winter time and then switching over to the Nitto Terra Grappler G3s. They’re a more aggressive all terrain tire that are also 3PMS rated for snow, which is good for crossing the mountain passes here in Oregon.

They have two different sidewalls you can choose from. One is more aggressive than the other. So if you don’t like one, flip them around and use the other side.

I’ve have Ridge Grapplers and Trail Grapplers on my Jeeps in the last. Love Nitto tires.
