Anyone have any insight into the process of these getting to their respective dealers once they arrive at port? Spoke w/my dealer and he couldn't give me anything concrete as to when it may get to them. It's been there for a bit over a month. Thanks!

I was told today my 25 arrived at the port and I may have it by this weekend.

Toyota was able to provide my dealership a schedule from build completion in Japan to arrival at the dealership, and it was accurate to the day (about 6 weeks total time). Sounds to me like your dealership may have other ideas for the Land Cruiser you wanted, or the port facility is backlogged for installing accessories prior to delivery.

What does 'other ideas' mean, given that I've delivered a deposit against an order I did?

It was about 2 weeks once delivered to port to arrive to the dealer. I did specifically ask my dealer if it was on QC hold (those are the hold ups for port installed accessories). They said no.

Most manufactures can do this. When I had my Mini built about a decade or more ago, I could track it from scheduling, to build, then shipment by vessel, to port to dealer. My Jeep was somewhat the same. Scheduling, build, then transport to dealer. I would suggest your dealer doesn't know how to get this info, are too lazy to track it, or may try to sell your vehicle at a higher margin. Did you get a VIN? I got a build sheet with a VIN from my dealer as soon as my LC was produced.
