Say Hello and tell us about your SoCal Land Cruiser

Thanks for the invite. Think it's a great idea but I will not be able to make it. Hopefully next time.
We will see you next time, and/or at so-Cal local off-road trip together in future.

Hope to see many of us this Sunday. Should be fun, know new friends, and benefit learning from each other about our LC.

Thank you Ryan for organizing this.
I saw your upgrade with engine air filter (in YouTube) … Looks like your engine sounds/gains more muscles ;)

Inspiration Wash is right before Font's Point there is a small sign on the right side of the road of it. I only went maybe ~1/4 of the way through it when I poked my head down it this last trip. The last time I went on the full trail it had a few challenges with some deep ruts and stuff, but overall just took it slow and didn't have any issues in my Tacoma at time. Here the description from OnXOffRoad:

To started in on it from Borrego Salton Seaway road and drove to about the point where it started to into the canyon-ish wall area which I turned around because it was started to get a little late in the day and I needed to get back home. But, I remember when I did the full thing and looking at OnX it did send me out to another street at the end which looks to be Dump Rd. hopefully I am remember things correctly. Looking around the area there is Inspiration Wash which is just before Font's point entrance and I just found there is another trail called "Clark Dry Lake" never been on it and didn't even realize it was there without looking at OnX maps, from its information it rates that as a 2/10 technical rating where Inspiration Wash is a 5/10 and Font's is a 3/10. Looks like there is another trail just after Font's Point down the road called Palo Verde Wash that could be another good trail never been on it but from the maps it seems like its a 3/10 rating technical wise also. I'll be honest, I'm babying my LC currently but I'll give it a year or so and also put some proper skid plates on then I'll be more willing to take it on some higher technical stuff, however my Tacoma I have no problem giving that a whirl on things as its already gotten its battle scars from branches and other drivers in Costco/Parking lots giving it a few scars also - a little dirt/rock won't hurt it anymore ;). On a side note, I really like OnXOffroad I would have honestly never found all these other trails or stuff down in Borrego currently looking at it, also I use it for Dove hunting season to mark a couple locations I go with friends so if anyone on the fence with its worth the yearly subscription I've paid for thus far.

If you make it down there drop me a line I'll try to come on down, I need to give the Tacoma some time in the dirt to exercise its 4WD and also try out the new Toyo Open Country/AT3 I put on it recently also since it destroyed the Falcon Wildpeaks AT/3 I had on it they cupped really bad even with normal rotations and stuff but the Toyo's seem to be doing/raiding far better. Thinking of doing Nitto for the LC when it comes time also as always wanted to try that brand. Random tire thoughts to throw out there.

That is an awesome setup! What type of tear drop is that if you don't mind me asking and how do you like it? I've always been curious about getting one and more recently have though about looking up some of the sites/places that offer them to rent to give it a whirl to see if I'd like one long term.
It’s made by InTech. There is a shop in Kearny Mesa which had that model on display a few months ago.

Awesome, thanks for sharing I'll have to go check them out.
They have some cool small trailers. InTech makes some bigger trailers which look interesting. But I didn't see anything worthy of off-road use. We will definitely be keeping our Patriot

Just One Short Week until the SoCal LC 250 Coffee and Rigs Meetup!

I'm bringing Blue Steel and my Carista OBD app / device so any SoCal LC 250 owners can turn off annoying dings and turn on some cool features like opening all windows from your key fob!
See you all soon today Sunday 12th 9am-1pm

I'm on site. Anyone here? I'll be in the coffee lounge. Mark
Nice to meet and chat with you, Ryan, and Henry. Special appreciate your cool software to help us to kill the crazy/very loud beeps of driver seatbelt and rolling down 4 windows at the same time.

Looking forward to trail running together

A great morning in La Habra at the LC 250 Rigs and Coffee Meet and greet! It was fun to meet some of the SoCal forum members and super valuable to see the buildouts and meet with the vendors. Kudos to Ryan for organizing this.
