Rattle in driver's B pillar (2024 LC)

I'm experiencing the same ticking/rattling noise from my passenger grab handle. Do you mind expanding on the fix?

Much appreciate all the help here!
If you squeeze the cover on both sides (nearest the grab opening) and pull the cover will hinge open and expose the 10mm bolt underneath.

(edit) this is for the cargo area grab handles.

I figured out where mine above-the-driver's-head rattle was coming from. The soft-close grab handle above the driver's door was not attached properly - I could slide the whole handle assembly back and forth by applying small force (the other three handles were attached much better). Probably not screwed well enough at the factory. I will be opening the handle assembly shortly to see if these can be attached tighter. For now I have come up with a temporary fix - see artached. This created extra pressure on the fixing points of the handle and it stopped rattling.
Did the temporary fix resolve the rattle?

To close the loop on my rattle case - my trusted servicemen (not the official Toyota guys) removed the faulty handle. It is attached to the roof with metal clips, not bolts. They played a bit with the clips system and now the rattle is no more. Not exactly sure exactly what they did to the clips, but I can find out if anyone is interested. Thnx

I’m glad that you got to the bottom of this annoying problem. Thanks for letting us know what the culprit was..

That sounds promising. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for sharing. This rattle is plaguing several LC owners. Eventually, Toyota will have to have a TSB. Thanks again for the tip

This rattle has been driving me nuts since Aug. I took it to the dealership and they suggested it was the chain on the spare tire. I still can’t track it down and will take it back to the dealer.

Was it obvious that the handle was loose and the cause? Mine seem tight but can’t rule anything out.

Thanks!

I don’t see how to remove the rear driver’s side grab handle hardware cover just by squeezing the cover? I found this video of the same style Toyota grab handle being removed. After removing the cover (much more required than simply squeezing them per another recommendation, see video ) showing clips. No bolt that can be tightened afterwards. I'll try and expand clips to see if it seats more firmly. I have a First Edition so perhaps, it is the roof rack attachment? The search continues....

I hear a little ticking from the same area (Passenger side, roof grab handle). I removed everything, including the metallic clips. Drove it... It is still ticking... seems like something under the liner. Drives me crazy ;)

I have the same rattle / ticking coming from the area. I've removed the handle and the clips. The rattle is still there... It seems that the fix is the pressure applied to the roof liner... it's definitely coming from that area... however, I can't see/ feel anything through the handle grab holes.

For clarity...........My post was in reference to the cargo area grab handles, which do have 10mm bolts underneath.

Do any of y’all hear the rattle coming from the corner of the door and glass on the driver side?
That is probably coming from the rubber gasket/seal on the door. Doors have very tight fitting gaskets to completely seal off the cabin (I assume to insulate the cabin), which can squeak in cold weather once the rubber hardens . You can use a gasket lubricant to stop them from squeaking.

Something like this;
