Please make it go away!!!

Word of caution: Make sure you move your 12 o'clock hand out of the way before airbag fires or you will be catastrophically injured.
After 30 plus years of driving and never crashing, much less deploying an air bag, I have zero concern about this issue.

Is there any way to get rid of this message while raining?

When you go into the menu, you can turn driver alerts off. Annoyed the hell out of me at first. I was more likely to have an accident because I was pissed at the silly messages than I would for being distracted. Which almost always resulted from driving with your arm in front of the driver camera. I get what they're trying to achieve, but it's silly technology that's just annoying.

You'll find it when you play around with the menu function.

It’s off

Not that I would have time to contemplate this....but please explain further. What are you talking about exactly. Injured more so than if hands were in different position?
The hand placed on top of steering wheel can pushed into your face with extreme force as the airbag deploys. 10 and 2 or 9 and 3 are safer in this regard.

I tried to teach 10 and 2 to my kids 20+ years ago, and they corrected me, saying that it was 9 and 3 due to the driver side air bag.

I've never seen that one before. What are the circumstances?
This message shows up constantly if the window is open and it's raining. Even if I press "no", it wants to be sure again next minute...
If I press "yes", all open windows will be closed automatically.
For me no sense as I have window deflectors installed. And I smoke..)

Maybe dealer can disable this annoyance? Or at least reduce persistance?
