Depends on how you drive I suppose….I’m 450 miles in and I’m at 24.4 with 50/50 highway city

If it were me, I would be somewhat disappointed. What speeds are you driving on the highway?
What tires have you got? What have you got on the roof? These two factors will affect your mpg (though the jury's out about how much of a factor these are).

Wow! I cringe to think what my economy will be on the interstate highways at 80 MPH and a tad... However, it is a non-aerodynamic box. And running premium fuel to boot...

I am at 1k miles in the middle trim, 20 in wheels, basic rack. I am getting 19.1 MPG. Seems like false advertisement unless I have an issue with my model…

Are you folks using premium fuel? That seems to be what the engine is optimized for...
Yes always premium
I previously owned a Subaru Ascent (2.4L H4 w/ Turbo) and the MPG would swing wildly based on the driving behavior. The Subaru (and the Toyota even more so) has plenty will move with a heavy right foot but will adversely impact the MPG. The tires will also impact things. If you have the A/T tires, I would lower the bar for MPG.

I think the avg mpg calculation is incorrect or it is not cumulative. I have had stretch on the freeway where the avg mileage has moved at an amount where based on miles traveled it varies between 14 mpg to 30 mpg over 20 or 30 mile segments. I plan on doing some real testing based on miles travels and gallons of gas used.

Yes, always premium. Used to run same rout for several years on 2012 XG460 my average was 17.5/gall. No heavy right foot. I suspect something is not programmed correctly.

Anxious to hear their response, but would not get my hopes up. However, most owners are reporting in the neighborhood of 22-23 MPG for moderate driving. Obviously not at Interstate speeds.
My experience with this is that you hit close to the published numbers between about 30 and 65. Over 65 they dip. Under 30 they are about right, maybe a little under. I think it’s aerodynamics mostly but over 65 you don’t get your usual freeway boost.
I drove for 400 miles on freeway and I see 24.5 as the average
