Thought it would be nice to see what other LC owners reports read. I plan on getting another report at 5000 miles to see if the Fuel % drops. My replacement oil was... Valvoline Restore & Protect full synthetic 0W-20, with toyota filter.

Post your results here....

I wouldn't trust Blackstones fuel dilution numbers. They use a method that is basically a guess. Use polaris labs if you want that number to be more accurate.

Which oil test did you do on their website?

Standard... $35 bucks... As they already had my money about 3 weeks before the results... They have no reason to lie...

Did someone rip you and No15... off in the past and make you think all Labs are Full of Shit?

Guys... It's just data... No one is trying to prove a point!

Take your Tin cap off!

Don't know where this aggressiveness is coming g from. Blackstone is fine and I never said otherwise. All I said is if fuel dilution is not measured accurately there. They do not have the very expensive test machine to do it.
You mentioned fuel dilution as a concern and I suggested a lab with the correct equipment.

Sorry, Not being aggressive... But they have the machines and correct equipment. Unless you work there and would like to explain how bad and or old their equipment is...? What data do you have that suggest they don't have the correct equipment... ?
So.... Is it the same data that is telling you use polaris labs... requesting you to wear a tin hat to prevent your goverment from reading your thoughts? Facts.... not Feelings!!! I would be interested in your facts... please share...

😆 ok you like to infer a lot of things based on little info but 👍

I never said their equipment was old, you seem to have comprehension issues. I said they did not have the correct equipment for accurate results with fuel dilution. It requires a gas chromatography machine. BS guesses at the dilution based on flash point and viscosity which can give inaccurate results. It actually is an atsm test but once you factor variability it's clear that it is not reliable.

You believe what you want, I was originally trying to give information about FD results. You seemed to think I was attacking blackstone and felt the need to defend them. For what reason I don't know, but for the record they do good work and I have used them myself.

Anyway, I've said all I'm gonna say about this and fashion my tinfoil hat into earmuffs.

Man, big increase in mpg post first oil change! Went from 20 to 24 the way into work this morning.
