I know this isn't what you meant but I may put this on mine, I have one on my FJI saw some FE’s with a retro styled decal or badge on the back side and some that don’t? Just wondering to kill time till mine gets here end of this month
I haven't seen them on the US FEs. I like the retro colors/stripes.I saw some FE’s with a retro styled decal or badge on the back side and some that don’t? Just wondering to kill time till mine gets here end of this month
Thanks for answering. Wondering why they chose not to for the North American version. I think it looks pretty good. The North American FE's don't have the decal.
13mpg for a 4-cylinder hybrid!13.5mpg first 60 miles
I can't imagine their marketed mpg would be so off, but if this is true I'd rethink it as well.13.5mpg…
If this is the LC’s true mpg, I’m out for sure. I wonder what it will be with a 1” lift and lower offset wheels and real AT tires.
Let's see what the mpg is in real-world use—after break-in miles (and properly calculated). I highly recommend we all take any and all mpg posts with a grain of salt. It's quite rare for a modern vehicle to not get (roughly) the EPA fuel economy numbers in real-world driving (especially with the updated EPA numbers—which came about in 2008).If it's true......... it might be for sale! The main reason I chose the LC was for the fuel milage.
See my post above.I can't imagine their marketed mpg would be so off, but if this is true I'd rethink it as well.
Also, I’m sure he sat and fiddle with all the settings and adjustments, and all that for quite a bit of time with the engine, running. There was lots of set up with profiles and seat adjustments and saving all kinds of stuff. You guys know that the dealerships let the car sit there and idle for an hour or so while they do PDI, right? That frontloads 0MPG in the average calculation. Just reset it and drive for a tank, and then report out. Literally every new car I've purchased showed horrible average MPG until I reset it or got enough miles on it to start offsetting that junk data at the beginning of the calculation.
Let's say that he averaged 20mpg while driving 60 miles (consuming 3 gallons) and the logistics/port/PDI process consumed 1.5 gallons effectively idling. That is 60 miles / (3 gallons + 1.5 gallons) = average 13.3mpg. The computer doesn't know to ignore all that idling.
