Are there specific parts and part numbers for the FE rack delete? I like the look of no rack as well but don't want holes and gaps up top. Keep us posted on parts needed for this.

Agree. I like the roof rails on the LC trim, but I’m not a fan of the ones like on the FE. Too much wind noise. And those big tubular roof cages make zero sense IMO, unless you’re really hauling a lot of stuff a lot of the time.
I agree. I have noticed a lot of folks with the FE racks are switching them out based on the wind noise. I do like the FE style rack, however, the wind noise would get irritating after awhile.
That is why I have decided on the Thule Aeroblades for cross bars. They are rugged in design, yet quiet.
I understand that others may not like the wind noise, and have no issue with that, but as an FE owner coming from a JLU soft top I could put a giant box made of kazoos on my FE roof rack with all the windows down and the sunroof open - and it would still be quieter than the JLU.

The FE rack is good looking. I’m just not a camper / off-roader, so I don’t need the actual functionality of a roof rack. Only the appearance to make it look like I’m actually rugged.
I think I'm leaning in the same direction to be able to put a roof box for skiing. Do you know for sure if the Aeroblades will fit?
When I searched the Thule site roof rack systems, the Aeroblades did not show up as compatible with the LC.
The Thule site is not accurate with the new Land Cruisers.

Yes, the Wingbar Evo bars were the ones I was considering. Yours looks great. Is there any issue with fitting them correctly?
How is the wind noise?
I was lucky I guess as I visited a dealer that had exactly what I wanted in the lot due to a cancelation. Before I went to the dealers I did look online and there were a number of non Calgary dealers that were offering at MSRP. I went to the largest south Calgary dealer with the tower and test drove one and when I said I wanted to buy they opened at $12,500 over list and I walked.I feel your pain. I'm also with a small dealer and have not gotten mine from them. HOWEVER, I found the exact one I'd been waiting for (mid trim, non-premium, Meteor/Brown Sugar) at another dealer 3 hours away. It's a 2025, at MSRP. Just signed the offer to purchase tonight, and should see it 3rd week December!
I have had excellent service and buying experience at Canyon Creek.
I have a stripped roof 1958 but I have added gamiviti towers and Alu cab rails for the ski season. ( and for summer canoes) There is wind fluttering noise without the ski box but mileage has only dropped marginally with blizzaks and the rack. 10.5 lph to 11.1 lph city.
I don’t get the full time full racks but roof racks rule in terms of providing more flexibility.
Did you consider the 50" bars as well? Would be flush with the sides and perhaps even less wind noise?
I don't notice the wind noise with my Wescott rack. I didn't buy it for looks I bought it for utility. We camp a lot, beaches and state parks and I have a 7 ft awning on order and you need a full roof rack for that. I also needed molle panels to carry my Rotos for water and extra gas for longer trips that are way out with not a lot of gas stations in the area.
I have a 5 ft awning on the FJ also which is so nice for shade on the beach.
I will not get a winch because of the weight of the bumper & winch even though winches in the past got me out of ruts. As a result I carry tracks pads on the roof rack, tow straps and a come along hoist, shovel and hi-lift. I take all those off except the awning when not on those trips. I also have camp lights on the back of the rach which helps tremendously when cooking or arriving in the dark.
I used to think why does anyone need all those tools until I started off-roading/camping and have been stuck twice with no other vehickes in the area. I have also used them to get other people unstuck.

I added a roof rack on my 1958 and a sasquatch sticker on rear window. Ive picked up 3 extra MPG now. Noise has improved too.
I added a small Cessna sticker to my back window and I have seen an increase in MPG as well.
Now up to 15.2…..which is nice.
On the ground or during flight?
Had to search hard in ‘02 to find a new LC that didn’t have the cosmetic, distributor addons such as fender flares, roof racks, running boards, etc
In early ‘21, I was briefly tempted to buy the Heritage Edition. I liked that it didn’t include running boards, cool box, and 3rd row seats. But I hated that stupid shopping basket on the roof. Glad that I waited a few more years to replace the old 100.
