Thats great i,m still trying to get used to the bells and whistles some are quite usefull let me know what the actual tow stuff does on the dash when pluged into a trailer pics would be good please of the dash

For us Brits posting here - I am trying to get a regional/country specific forum structure as the model spec differs

If that isn’t possible I fear the Uk interest will peak and decline once we have models delivered but the spec means the US orientated threads fail to relate

No fog light colour change
No Hitch. Even though it’s on my build spec under my vin no
No cargo net / barrier
So when is an LC250 FE not an LC250 FE
WHEN ITS IN THE UK !!
I’ve said all along we in the UK pay the most and get the least!!

Is there any way to set the speed alert off ( and other “driver aid settings”) as a default so it doesn’t reset it every time you restart the engine

I know how to turn it off but it’s a pain having to do it every time

Yep I think the engine - the 3 rd row (which I would happily have done without) and the pano roof ( which I like) are the UK extras

Thanks - more suitable when I had a track car - the LC is a lot more sedate transport now

It’s doing my head in…but, it becomes second nature when getting in the car now

So no scope to use the set button on the drivers seat then - think there is some way to do it in the US models but maybe the UK and EU ones have disabled that function

Glad I didn’t delay collection until after the budget to get an insurance quote as th3 fist year VAD has been increase by a heck of a lot

That’s from April 1st 2025 thank god fingers crossed mine will be here by then, not getting into politics but they have ruined so so many industries

Good question….I will know tomorrow when I pick it up. I ordered the 13pin version thinking that it would be future proof, although I need 7pin for my trailers, so have asked whether a converter is included…..no answer from them yet, so I have ordered one of Amazon, just in case.

Does the rear sensors auto disable when put into reverse with trailer attached ??
Have you an indication of some sort on the dash telling you theres a trailer attached ?
Do you hear a buzzer in the back when reversing the trailer ?
And anything else ??

Hi Dave, I just need to pick up my 13 to 7 pin converter so will check that later today for you.

Did you order a fixed or removable towbar in the end? I got a fixed version but they also gave me a separate removable towhook as well. I just wondered if that was normal and they are interchangeable?

Just hooked up my trailer and electrics. All the trailer lights work straight away but the car detects nothing. I needed to turn off the button to the right of the steering wheel to stop it beeping at me when reversing. The rear detection doesn’t go out and shows up on the reversing camera. Clearly not ‘plug and play’. Without reading the manual, I can’t find anything in the settings to say that a trailer is available to be able to change anything else.

I was also given a detachable tow hitch but it wouldn’t connect to my current setup without a whole new car mounting bracket, so I don’t know why it was included!

Be interesting to see if your car recognises the tow bar not just the lights working?
