New from UK

KevD do you have the more flimsy sump guard etc
I didn’t remember to check that. It was raining during my brief visit anyway so I didn’t look underneath. It will have it’s pdi on Monday, hopefully when I will also be able to insure it and give it a proper inspection.

I was surprised to see that the middle seats have both heating and cooling on them.

The first ed mudflaps were also in a box which the dealer will fit. The standard mats, whilst a bit flimsy, were actually first edition ones and colour coded to the paintwork.

Yes, exactly the same. Even arrived without the towbar that I ordered! The dealer has one coming in the next few days and will fit it themselves for the original option price. I certainly can’t complain at the service received from my dealer.
I’ve not got to order any options yet as they don’t know when my car will be even able to be ordered.
I find the UK so behind on the Land Cruiser, still no website, no list of options, no information about the vehicles, just a general poor show, I’ve been in the motor trade for 30 years and been a Skoda dealer UMM dealer and since the late 90’s have a motorcycle dealership and if my manufacturers were this far behind dealers would be jumping up and down to get them to sort their shizzle out.

I assume that Toyota don’t want to sell that many in the UK so haven’t put any effort into the the sales process or customer service. The only publication with car details, although no spec, but did include option prices, even if they didn’t tell all their dealers, or actually supply what some of us had ordered is here:

I did manage to obtain this spec sheet for the invincible and FE. I’m not sure how accurate it is, but it’s all that we have in the UK so far.

Once there are a few of us with vehicles be good to find a way to get some of the cool box tray inserts made

The cost to ship from the US doesn’t seem to be viable especially with all the import admin and duty costs the couriers now add

They will be listed on Amazon before long a lot less than we could get some made.

I ordered a part for my 200 series Land Cruiser which had to come from America through Amazon and the part ended up being cheaper coming through them than it actually was from the manufacture in America

Maybe - only non cool box version currently

Hi Kev, can you get the part number from your dealer please bud, as I would like to order a towbar for mine too.

Do you know which one you are after as there are 5 versions of factory fit? I've gone for the 13pin fixed towbar. I thought that 13pin would be better if I ever sell it and will get a 13 to 7 pin adaptor for it.

That’s good mine was £900 just to fit so what was the option price

£639 incl vat. The dealer says that it will cost them more to retrofit but will absorb that cost as I had ordered it with the car.

Dave: For English Bob's benefit, I think that the parts required and therefore part numbers are the last 3 items on your invoice, as I am told that it also requires the replacement lower bumper.

I,m just fitting mine ite a mission but i,m used this sort of thing i owned a bodyshop for 14 years
I would appreciate a photo Dave of what it looks like as I still haven’t seen one fitted yet.
