Hi Strad and all in the UK yes i,m on the caseI,m putting the tyres on my wifes Wrangler and hoping the K03 S come over here soon or the Falken wild peak AT 4W both are in the US also remove the front air dams, although I do like silver wheels the wheels are nice, theres also a couple of things everyone will want to do the inner sill protection very easy to scuff, plus theres no light in the boot i,ve ordered a Rhino Rack Pioneer 6 from Sticker Fab in the US Rhino Rack agents in Europe wont ship to the UK ?? but i,m still working on that as the Rack from the US is on hold at the moment The Pan roof is great all though its a shame to put a rack over it still thinking on that one Dont let the Dealership force you into stuff ie side steps both FE and Invinceble come with them, insurances, ceramic coating etc etc etc I have a story on them tactics but will divulge later very naughty what a Dealer I know was doing would not take the order from customers unless they agreed to about £3,000 in extra stuff !!! Also ordered a tow bar kit from Toyota no after market bars out there yet,£621 inc electrics to fit myself i,m told the electrics are plug and play with a few little querks ie open bonnet open doors etc ?? take off earth from battery etc theres a 1000 wat standard 3 pin plug in the boot more to come all the miss info and worry is gone now you,ll all love your cars so you can sleep nowCongrats Dave, First Edition and first owner!
Looks great in the blue and love those FE wheels too, you must be so pleased.
Just need to change those AT23’s for something more becoming of the car and its off-road provenance!!
We all look forward to hearing how you get on! Living vicariously………..
Plenty of speakers no lightsDid they fit the correct mud flaps I have seen that there is a trail dust UK FE just popped up on you tube at a dealer - short walk round - it’s on some basic flaps and the FE ones are in a box
Did you get rubber mats ?
I thought it had lights in the tailgate

I live in rural Northamptonshire, and due to pick up on Tuesday but having issues finding the vehicle details with the car registration I’ve been allocated, who did u get insurance with and approx how much or what insurance group, thanks in advanceIt’s still baffling me that you guys are having such headache with this insurance stuff - sorry to hear it
I’m paid up and locked in with Toyota Insurance UK - I spoke to them a few weeks ago, and as mentioned, told them to reach out to the underwriter direct with the car model/details
My insurance kicks in Monday (day of collection) and it’s been very easy from start to finish I must say
I’ve found them to be incredibly helpful at the other end of the line
Below is the make and model on my policy letter, so maybe you can give them the exact same to locate a quote?
All I did was call: 0333 103 9950 and hit option 1

Thanks for your reply, our insurance is with NFU - and they are checking with head office & Toyota re catagory etc. will delay collection for now.Welcome to the forum
If you read back in this string you will find
Toyota insurance will issue quotes now - but depending on area you may need an extra Immobiliser
Toyota released a notice via dealers on Friday admitting that the LC is not rated for instance and they say they are working with Thatchem and it will be by 21 October at which point other insurers should be willing to quote
I have a Toyota quote but will check if my current insurer Admiral or another can quote competitively before I decide what to do

Will doI suspect you will be fine with NFU now we have managed (several on here have been hammering away for a few weeks) to get Toyota to engage with the issue of securing an insurance rating
It’s very frustrating they didn’t sort it earlier but it is now being sorted
I am looking at the week of 21 October for collection so I can get insurance in place ideally at lower cost
Frustrating as I have sold my existing vehicle and it goes to the new owner that week so if I have a further delay I will become a pedestrian again
Do please come back and update us on your progress
I did get a reasonable quote from Toyota insurance for the FE of what seemed like a competitive £472, but they then said that they couldn’t insure me as my ncd was for a commercial vehicle. They also only verbally gave me this without any info such as excess or other requirements. I am also therefore awaiting 21st Oct to get quotes from other companies. Their price will very much depend on your personal circumstances.I live in rural Northamptonshire, and due to pick up on Tuesday but having issues finding the vehicle details with the car registration I’ve been allocated, who did u get insurance with and approx how much or what insurance group, thanks in advance
