Driving this morning from DC back to Charlotte, NC, near Mebane on I85. Just going with traffic, no rush, and this Chevy Cobalt kamikaze tried to side swipe me and brake check for insurance fraud. The brakes came on before I even knew she tried to get me, saved me and the truck. Faster than I could blink the brakes were on.

NC plate "LHL 4447", possibly a 2008 from a quick google. Did you file a possible report? I'd say they were attempting to commit fraud. You can at least report them for aggressive driving

I’m going to guess they were mad at you for being in the left lane when they wanted to go faster than you, and so they gave their little emotional outburst via brake check. Not insurance fraud and honestly not worth trying to report anything.

Nope, traffic was light mid morning. 4 lanes and I was in front of a semi on the third lane, a little faster than the other 2 lanes on my right. On the frame by frame she looks at my when doing whatever she decided to do. I could see her face on her rear view mirror, she must have seen the dashcam and took off to find another. I was more concerned with the truck behind me, but it went by pretty quickly. I could see her accelerating, getting in front of another one and braking. Not long after she crossed to get off at the next exit, saw her on the ramp.

Looks to me like just a $hit of a driver.
That she is. The native video she looks at me and decides to do try me, then her eyes clear on her rearview looking at me, probably registered the dash cam and took off. I could see her up ahead trying the same on others. About a mile later she was off at the ramp towards Mebane, probably to restart the loop.

That's why I have dash cam's (front & rear) in both my vehicle's.
I got cameras on mine and my wife's for the same reason. Funny thing is, when I drive my 80 I never have problems, even in crazy Miami traffic when I go visit down there, crazy drivers avoid the steel bumpers and sliders like the plague.
