Thanks for the add. Wife and I had been JLR fans for a few years and just switched over to Toyota a few months back. I was coming from a 2020 Defender FE and then a 2023 Defender X-Dynamic. Wife had a Jaguar E-Pace that we loved. Unfortunately, we have young teenage boys and basically live in our cars transporting them everywhere — putting 20-25,000 miles a year on each vehicle. Decided we’d get into some vehicles that held resale better w higher miles and I bought a 2024 Lexus GX 500 Lux Plus back in May after spending 9 months on their waiting list. That car sucked ass and was a total lemon (13.5 MPG completely stock and driving like a little old lady was BS due to extremely small gas tank). Dealer was great and bought the GX back and gave me a great deal on a 2024 Sequoia Platinum from their sister dealership. Other than a stupid cargo area when the rear seats are down, I absolutely love it. (Not as smooth or fun as my Defenders, but the future resale value makes it a much smarter choice.) Was looking at Audi Q5/Q7, Volvo 60/90s, or BMW X5/7 for the wife, but she saw her first 2024 LC on the road and fell in love. Was worried it would drive as horribly as my GX, but those fears immediately faded as soon as we pulled out of the dealership on the test drive. Got almost $5k off MSRP and it was too good of a deal to pass up. Happy to be in the Toyota family now. Only gripe is the poor gas mileage and small tank -17.5 MPG no matter how easy we drive it (likely due to the rolling hills here in western Pennsylvania). Hoping to find some good lightweight 18” wheels and tires to put on after we run through the stock 20”s. Cheers!
