2025 Land Cruiser, Jeep TJ built.
When is Toyota going to offer a LC TRD Pro?
Yes, I want one.

Since Toyota will want to differentiate the “international” LC from North American model 4Runner and Sequoias, Toyota will probably do something like a “GR Sport” trim instead that they offer on the LC300.

It is a marketing challenge for Toyota, give the overlap between the new 4Runner and LC. I see the LC more focused towards mature/conservative owners, so will they ever announce a TRD Pro? This said, the Lexus sibling of the LC, the GX550, offers the Overtrail variant, so who knows the future?

Hopefully never. That trd badge is overused and then adding pro behind it makes me think of those “do you know who I am?” Type of people.
The badges are the first thing that comes off into the garbage.

Good thought. I want to build a new something out, the idea of a 4runner is not appealing except that its well equipped at the higher end. Thinking about another Cruiser and just go at it, however the non hybrid Lexus is starting to look better and better.
This is becoming an interesting adventure. I do not want the 500lbs of hybrid off road. The GX has a larger gas tank to become attractive and a really nice engine. the lexus badging can come off so that fixes that problem kinda.

Seriously considered the GX, but no dealers near, like 250 miles distant. The Overtrail would be a great off-roading machine, but the bean counters deleted the 3-zone HVAC. No rear overhead vents.

Understand. In my case the back seat goes after the badging goes. So non issues in my case. I'm going to keep the Cruiser of course, i am in love with this thing as a daily driver. I had several in the middle east over a period of time and really appreciate the fact it was the Bedouin top choice, nothing else came close. The base model may be the hot ticket as a builder, however the added features of the premium i have become better acquainted with are addictive. In my case no rush and who knows what might come out in the next 2 years. If the Cruiser proves out as I think it will ill most leily just get another one as a builder or new as a DD and build the one i have now. I am starting to get over the hybrid vs a gas only engine. The current one has plenty of power and honks on when i decide to pass or power through turns. May need to stiffen up the body role a bit, time will tell on that.

The interior styling of the TRD Pro models of 4R/Taco/Tundra/Sequoia are HIDEOUS!

It's like a weird gamer aesthetic and it's terrible. I don't need a billboard on my dash to remind myself I'm in a Toyota.
It's the in your face advertising that is attractive to younger buying demographics.
Good point for sure.

Very personal, Last August I chose and paid $5k over window sticker price for LCFE after comparison LCFE and Lexus GX550 Overtrail Plus for many reasons (not budget). Added over $20K on top of LC cost for off-road exterior protection / mods / personalized stuffs.
Soon, one day, I will list all what ultimately love I put on her (beside my lovely wife and 2 sons): pretty expensive 😜 😜

Till now, every single time I drive by GX550, I pleasantly smile myself that I made right decision ;)

You did mention few, I want to add few more:
Less approach angle
More “urban” cruiser, less “classic , heritage off-road” look
