We all are buy new cars at this point. You have 60 months/60000 miles to be sure that specific car/engine don't have any major problems.
if anything happens before, fix on Toyota dime and move on.
Simple like that.

I was a BETA tester on the 2015 Ford Transit Van, 1 ton. Biggest mistake I have ever made. I blindly trusted Ford. Biggest mistake I have ever made.

I think Toyota is in a whole different league, than Ford. I feel like I made the right choice. Time will tell.

No Ford bashing please. I know Ford walked away from one of their v8 diesels a few years back. Blamed it on Navistar if I recall correctly.

I’m concerned about reliability issues with this engine. I’m fine with waiting a bit but I found one I really like. Thoughts?

This was also a concern of mine but there were 3 things that made me go for it anyways. Those were:

• It's a Toyota
• It's made 100% in Japan (Mine came out of Tokyo)
• It has a warranty

This is also a daily driver for me which I usually don't have more than 2-3 years. I do plan to keep this one longer since it's the First Edition but I've said things like that before.
