Hood Reflection

Does anybody feel the new hood curves are annoying in a way that if you are driving towards the source of light it is a lot easier for these light to bounce off into drivers' eyes? I feel the traditional hood curves didn't have nearly as much reflection as the new design. I wonder if there is a decent way we can suppress these reflection. It really annoy me when I drive in the wrong direction

So much better than the 5th Gen 4Runner, I'd never complain... nor notice it.

Have the hood wrapped with a matte black overlay or clear matte finished overlay. Or try a Bronco!

It only takes one night of street parking here to put a nice anti-reflective layer of dust on your hood.

Ha, I've noticed this too! I've never had another vehicle where the sunlight reflects in my eyes off the hood, though admittedly it's only happened a couple of times.

Yes, actually, I’ve noticed this because I’m driving toward the sun going to work, and then going home. I put a black vinyl decal on my 4Runner’s hood scoop which solved that problem, but this seems to hit from the two outer edges. I don’t want to cover the whole hood but two stripes down the sides would look funny.
