Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster
First of all, I apologize, I don't speak English, so what you read from me will be a Google translation.

My name is Paco, I am currently retired and I have had a lot of 4x4s, Ranger Rover V8, Discovery (200, 300 and Td5), Defender td5 110, Audi allroad 2.5 TD and 3.0 Tdi, Porsche Cayenne S turbo 958 (2014), and since December 23 an Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster Diesel, which I recently lost as a result of the damage last month in October here in Valencia. While waiting to see what compensation I recover for the total loss of the car, I am considering buying the Land Cruiser, although here in Spain (the Frist Edition sold all the available units in two days) until next year there is only one model, the VX (intermediate) diesel engine without electrification and very few units and at an exorbitant price of € 86,000, from January it seems that a top-of-the-range model will arrive at € 96,000 (this is the only one that has the disconnectable stabilizer) also without electrification, the models with electrification will not arrive until the end of 2025, so in the meantime, I am thinking about the subject, and reading your opinions. and open to your advice, for any questions do not be shy. Greetings

Hello Paco. I live in Northern California and have a Land Cruiser with hybrid power train (as they all are in the US) and the Premium Package. I'm very happy with the vehicle. It is very comfortable for long highway travel, but also very capable off road. I wanted something that has more capability off road than I intend to use, and it certainly has that. I like that extra margin. When shopping for the vehicle I was regretting that the diesel engine is not offered in the US. After using the hybrid version on and off road, I am very happy to have it. It is excellent in both the amount of power and how it is delivered along with a small boost in economy. I do like having the extras provided in the Premium Package such as stabilizer disconnect and 360° cameras.

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic trip to Rioja and the Spanish Pyrenees last September. Sorry about your misfortune with the flooding. We saw some evidence of that in the mountains, but not on the scale that Valencia experienced.

Hello brfinley, thanks for your reply, I'm now considering whether to buy a VX (intermediate version without stabilizer disconnection) or wait for the 2025 model with a premium finish called VXL to arrive here, wondering if the €10,000 difference compensates for the improvements of the premium level. Another problem with the VX level is that there are very few units and they are all grey and I don't really like it. But they don't know exactly when the 2025 model will arrive and I'm currently without a car since La Dana, so I'm confused.

I'm glad you liked La Rioja, good scenery and better wines, and the Pyrenees have spectacular corners. I have a house in a high mountain area next to some Sky slopes in Teruel, much closer to my house in Valencia. Teruel is also a spectacular area.

And the DANA has been something terrible and unprecedented in Spain, it is estimated that there are 150,000 cars destroyed and another 100,000 seriously affected, more than 20 towns completely devastated. Towns with more than 20,000 inhabitants each, what has been mind-blowing is that "only" 230 people have died. It's been hell.

Greetings
Paco
