Has anyone painted their brake calipers black?

The silver color really jumps out between the spokes of the black FE wheels I put on my LC Prem.
Just picking nits...

What the best type of paint one would use for this?

I would take it to a shop and have it properly prepped and ensure the proper paint is used. From the factory, painted brake parts are baked on enamel designed to withstand the heat and rigors of the braking system.
If done improperly, a host of issues would ensue.
