I'm not talking about the designed in shaker that warns when you're departing a lane. This is a high frequency vibration that happens when you're on the gas and goes away when you let off the gas. Happens at all speeds.

Yes, vibrates when you accelerate from a stop or from a slow speed, goes away when up to speed. I noticed it when I test drove ours. I even test drove another one to see if it that one would vibrate, it did so I assume they all do it.

I only notice a vibration under 1,500 rpm’s. The vibrations you’re feeling are most likely from the engine. A 4 cylinder does tend to vibrate that’s the nature of them. The engine has a balance shaft to help counteract the vibration.

I've noticed this as well. It usually happens when I'm on the interstate. My Landcruiser has 1k miles on it and this sound drives me crazy. I'm seriously considering trading it in for a Lexus GX550 if this is normal for the Landcruiser and can't be fixed.

@ only 1k miles and a few 100 mile freeway trips, nothing notable so far. I was very critical when doing a good few 80mph sections last week, 4 lane freeway stuff, i was the slowest. 20" stock rims, Yokomama stock tires as received.
I will be more critical coming away from stops. So far nothing notable.

My car has also this problem. As commented this is a vibration that looks to be in the engine vibration range. But on the other hand this is difficult to understand because the steering, I think, is fixed to the car frame. The engine is also fixed on the frame but trougth sofisticated vibration isolators that seems to do the job because the interior of the car dashboard etc do not vibrate. Then how the vibration is transmitted to the steering rack. Or perhaps the steering rack I supported on the engine?. I'm worried because looks a not easy to solve problem. I agreed with my Toyota dealer that has tested the car and noticed the vibration, that they will analize in deep the problem in the fist service inspection. I think it is not acceptable and in long trips I feel some tingling in my hands. In my car problem appears when engine pushes for instance in a road uphill.
Another possibility that I suspect could be a problem in the steering electrical servosystem adjustment that could overreact. Opposed to this hypothesis is the vibration only appears when engine pushes. I'm afraid because this could be a not easy to solve problem

I haven't felt any noticeable vibrations but that doesn't mean that they aren't there. There is definitely something vibrating in the steering column so I wouldn't be surprised if some of that isn't transferred to my hand. I haven't taken the LC on any long trips yet either ..... The vibrations I hear are pretty consistent when the engine gets above 60mph. They can still be heard even when not accelerating at 60+ mph.

Seems like there should be a ‘fix’ for that!!

I am more concerned with the wa-wa-wa-wa sound from the OEM Michelins on Miss Daisy.. 😏

I've noticed the vibration and it seems to happen when the engine is dealing with more torque ie. pulling up hill. Kind of like a diesel engine truck. It is not constant but with heavy torque I can feel it. I might have to take notes to see when and what rpm is when occurring. But to be honest I don't mind it. My other rig is a F-350 SuperDuty 6.7 diesel so my LC feels quite nimble in comparison.

Mine vibrates as well. I am coming from a diesel jeep wrangler. The Land Cruiser vibrates almost as much lol. I never realized it until I read this post and then it clicked. The steering wheel definitely shakes more than my wife’s Honda Pilot. I assume it’s normal since I recall car reviewers mentioning the vibration when compared to a new 4Runner.
