IMO the cargo area isn't lighted very well....... so, I changed it

I purchased 2 of these from Amazon, they have two switches, one for bright white and one for amber, you can have either on or both. I milled off the little bars that are used for a strap around a roll bar for a more streamlined look. Fabricated a mounting plate that fits under the OEM grab handle. The handle bolts through the plate into OEM holes. I purchased a wht/red and a wht/amber.

I removed the upper /rear trim panels (they are the ones that have the little "L" shaped insert). It's held on with 5 Christmas tree fasteners. There is no need to remove the entire side trim panels. ran the wire from the pass side under the headliner around the back by the hatch (no need to remove anything but the weather stripping).

They are bright!

You are my inspiration! :) I read how you ran the wires however where did you tie into power?

Those lights look great. And they're about three times cheaper than Baja lights.

Your write-ups are incredible, but have you ever considered doing a YouTube video?

I learn better watching people and I'm sure others would love that too if it ever crossed your mind to do it...

If you go to my build page, you'll see where I tapped into the 12v battery and installed a circuit breaker.

I still have to install a fuse in the run but, the fuse holder I like to use, hasn't arrived yet.
