Buzzing by fuel door hours after parked

About 4 hours after parking our LCFE we heard a buzzing noise from the left rear. It was fairly loud and went on for about 10 min. I started it and moved it a few feet . and shut it down and no buzzing. I would guess it is a the EVAP system. Has anyone else heard this from their LC?

This is the Evap system doing a leak test.

Yup, as explained above, it’s the DMTL (Diagnostic Module for Tank Leakage) doing a self-check pressure test on the fuel system

Thanks for the responses. I assumed it was the evap system. My concern is that the electrical system is not going to sleep and staying on hours after the LC is shut down. I would like to know if anyone else has heard the EVAP running tests hours after shutdown. As of now 196 have viewed this post and no one has replied that they have heard the EVAP running tests hours after shutdown.

I have, same thing happened a couple of times in my garage, hours after parked.

I believe it’s about 5 hours after shut down. I read this somewhere on another Toyota forum.

I have heard it on both my LC and my wife’s hybrid Highlander in the evening and at night

Miss Daisy sometimes makes noises after I shut her down. But I have NO idea what she is doing.
